The internet and doing business over the web is very new and is to many small business owners a complete unknown.  There is unquestionably a learning curve to climb.  Equally there are some aspects of doing business over the web that should be left to businesses like us.

Very few things in life are completely free.  Offering advice about any aspect of doing business over the web is something we like to get some reward for.  We're happy to take calls and give advice or offer an opinion.  We're confident any of our clients will testify to this.  Sometimes it is necessary to charge for advice when it clearly starts to turn into consultancy style support.  In these instances we always aim to demostrate that paid for advice is matched or exceeded by the returns or savings made as a result of the support we give.

Website Content Creation and Management

All the sites we design have user content management features.  This means all our clients have the ability to add and edit the content on their sites without any need for us to be involved.   This doesn't mean that we don't do content, because we do.

Quality content is something that isn't created in minutes, unless it's a very short blast of latest news.  Content that gets you noticed needs to include all the essential elements that search engines need in order to index content the way it was intended to be.  All too often content is written without reference to search engines.  This means it's unlikely to help your site increase in stature and influence.

Because of what we do every day we've picked up a lot of extended skills on how to do different things on the web.  This can be "how to add a link to a web site" or "how to get the embed code for a YouTube clip".  You can find some of this knowledge in our Frequently Asked Questions section.  If you can't find the answer then we do deliver "how to" support as part of monthly recurring support contracts or as one-off support sessions, paid for in advance.
