Link Building For Traffic

Link Building for SEO and Traffic Conceptual ImageInbound Links Are Good ESSENTIAL

Ignore link building at your peril.  Avoid the mistake so many web site owners make when they think they've cracked it when their site goes live.  When a site goes live the task of gaining traffic starts and it must include getting links from other sites to your sites.

Link building is a key part of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and vital to establish a healthy balance of traffic from referring sources.

We design and execute Link Building campaigns for small and medium businesses within and beyond our typical geographical areas of Liverpool, Wirral and Chester.

It's Not A Secret

The search engines make no secret of the fact that they DO take into account how many inbound links there are to a site when they are determining how relevant your site is for specific search terms their users are typing into their search bars.  Furthermore, Google in particular, makes no secret of the fact that they look at the quality of inbound links.  Although they don't say what they mean by quality we can safely say that a link from a site that has few links itself will not count as well as a site with many more links.

Quality Counts For More Than Quantity

Having inbound links is important.  If you don't have any inbound links to your site you simply can't expect to pop up on the first page of search results for the terms you decided you wanted to be known for when you did your keyword research.

Quality links are more important for two key reasons.  First of all the search engines will think more highly of your site it the sites linking to your site are themselves considered to be of a high quality.  This is a little like hanging about with the right crowd.  Secondly, quality links mean traffic.  You are far more likely to gain traffic and customers from sites that have a high standing.

It's Another Challenge

Getting links is a challenge.  It's possibly the most taxing one for most web site owners, particularly at the start.  This is probably why there are a growing number of onshore and offshore businesses that will offer to get you a lot of links, and they will.  However, as we've said, it's not about quantity.

The key is to understand how many links it's going to take to muscle in on first page rankings, for specific search terms.  This is exactly what we do.  Then we look at the links competing sites have and then set about achieving similar links.  In short, we take a pragmatic and less stressful route to gaining links.
